Double Drums

Someone sent me these links of double drums:
The first is Keith Carlock and myself on an Oz Noy gig a few months back. Click this link http://guitarplayertv.com/ and navigate [under channels on left side] to 'World of Oz Noy' and click the song 'Say What?!'

The second is an older concert at Madison Square Garden on the Bob Dylan 30th Anniversary Celebration. Jim Keltner and myself, along with Booker T and the Mg's and GE Smith are backing George Harrison on a version of 'Absolutely Sweet Marie' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHzweno85Qw&search=george%20harrison

Anton Fig Signature Sticks

Playing with someone else's stick does not make you play like them. Finding a stick that suits your needs can bring out the best in what you can do. The Anton Fig signature stick is a versatile rock stick - with enough muscle and length for the bashing - but not too heavy to play the sensitive passages.
So check it out and see if it fits your groove...

PORTAGE: Fan blogs for Letterman's drummer
BY BRIAN WILLIAMS

Marsha Moore says she's not THAT kind of fan.
The Portage woman insists she's not nutty -- simply the "ultimate fan" of Anton Fig, drummer for "Late Show with David Letterman." And she's got the blog to prove it......

Link was a special guy - dynamic with a lot of drive and energy - he was always really positive and very encouraging. I feel privileged that my path crossed his and that I was able to play some great music with him. I first played with him when I toured Europe with Robert Gordon and Link Wray in '78. I played on his 'Bullshot' album soon after that and also his 'Live at the Paradiso' in Amsterdam a few years later. Link gave his all on every show he played. He was the first to punch holes in his speakers to create a distorted sound - and he loved to create controlled feedback. He also inspired some very heavy guitarists to take up the instrument. I learnt a lot about intensity and commitment and colors of sound from Link. He was one of a kind.
